It is a non-invasive MR imaging modality used to visualize the anatomy and diseases of the excretory (urinary) system, which consists of the bladder and urinary tract. MR urography is preferred over conventional methods in pregnant women, children and patients with contrast agent allergy or renal insufficiency.
