It is an examination method in which the gallbladder, bile ducts and pancreatic duct can be visualized without any intervention (needle, catheter, etc.). It is used to detect conditions such as stones, stenosis and tumor compression in the bile and pancreatic ducts. MRCP is not an interventional procedure and is performed for diagnostic purposes only. Approximately 6 hours of fasting is required.
